Known to the early Hawaiian natives as "The Gathering Place",
is geographically the third largest of the inhabited Hawaiian Island chain and home to nearly 3/4's of the state's 1.3 million residents. Honolulu, the capitol of the State of Hawaii located on the island of Oahu is homebase for 375,000 residents. Oahu is truly one of the most beautiful and well-known Islands in the Hawaiian Island chain. Oahu is also where you'll find the
world famous Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor and the finest Hawaiian Hula Dancers in the World.
Honolulu as the State Capitol and county seat has a total land area of 594 square miles which translates to 44 miles long and 30 miles wide and 112 miles of gorgeous coastline. Oahu is the most populated Hawaiian Island and the highest point is Kaala Peak with an elevation of 4,003 ft above sea-level.
