The gift I ask for this Christmas,
Isn't one that comes packaged in a bow...
I ask for a gift that comes from the heart,
One I trully desire and will never outgrow...

May I see this gift in all the bright Christmas decorations and such,
May I recieve this gift with every gesture of kindness and healing touch...
May the beauty and wonder of all creation here on earth and up above,
Cause us all to give more openly in the timeless gift we call Love...

May we allow all the peace and goodwill of this season,
to grow and proliferate upon the earth...
And may we remember the reason we celebrate,
Is for the gift of his Divine birth...

And to that One, who in the name of Christmas is concieved,
Who came among the people so lost in judgement, anger and greed.
Through him may we remember as Christmas day draws near,
to share all our Love, Kindness and Compassion each day of the year...
